Lakewood Elementary School moved up a letter grade and is now a "B-rated school." State-applied school letter grades are based largely on results from last spring's ACT Aspire exam.
This accomplishment has caused students, teachers, and administrators to reflect on all of the hard work and efforts over the past year to make adjustments to improve teaching and learning so that students would show growth.
This video provides a glimpse into what everyone on this campus did to improve their letter grade and how it motivates them to do even more to earn the A.
